Marc Rosés Vega was born in Barcelona in 1979.
He graduated with a BA in photography from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 2001.
His studies included one year at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in London, where he began
experimenting with film/video and portrait photography with “Young Atmospheres”, a study of the trials and joys
of adolescence.
Work from this project was acquired by the curator Josep Vicent Monzó in Centre D’art of
Santa Mónica’s forum celebrated in Barcelona, where has included it in "Géneros y Tendencias
en los albores del siglo XXI”, as part of the public collection, currently in Madrid.
Rosés Vega currently lives in Barcelona, where he works as a freelance photographer and pursues
personal projects. His work includes projects for Bacardi on the Bombay Sapphire campaign,
for La Paloma, a historic modernist venue in Barcelona, and for Vice magazine, where his work
appears frequently. He also works as a cinematographer and video artist on multimdedia projects.
Rosés Vega continues to explore image work through his own projects. He has held
numerous individual and group shows since 1999 in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Sitges, Olot,
La Garriga, and Surrey, UK. His work has been purchased by private collectors, including
Juan Redón of Barcelona.
